Uno de los mejores descubrimientos desde que tengo cuenta premium de Spotify ha sido Billie Holiday, no me cabe la menor duda.

Con una biografia muy dura desde su mas tierna infancia, sorprende lo lejos que llego.

La cancion anterior, Strange Fruit, fue elegida por la revista Time como la mejor cancion del siglo XX. Esto es una solemne tonteria en mi opinion, pero da cuenta de que indiferente no ha dejado a la posteridad. Citando a la Wikipedia:

Strange Fruit era la canción con la que cerraba su actuación Holiday. Se apagaban todas las luces excepto por un foco dirigido a la cantante, que iniciaba de la actuación con los ojos cerrados. Inmediatamente tras finalizar la actuación desaparecía del escenario. Después llegaba la calma sin música para dejar claro que la actuación había acabado.
